Sangguniang Bayan (Legislative Body Office)

Functional Statement
The Sangguniang Bayan as the Legislative Body of the municipality , shall enact ordinances approve resolution and appropriated funds for general welfare of the municipality and its inhabitants.
Objectives
- Approve ordinances and pass resolutions necessary for the efficient and and effective government;
- Generate and maximize the use of resources and revenues for the development plans, program objectives and priorities of the municipality with particularly attention to agro-industrial Development and country side growth and progress;
- Subject to the provisions of Book II of the Local Code of 1991, grant franchise, enact ordinances levying taxes, fees and charges upon such conditions and for such purposes and intented to promote the general welfare of the inhabitants of the municipality;
- Regulate activities relative to the use of land, buildings and structures within the municipality in order to promote the general welfare; and
- Approved ordinances which shall ensure the efficient and effective deliveryof the basic services and facilities.
Project/Activities
Pass at least 150 resolution/ordinances per annum implement and codification of ordinances.
